The Gold Under Tones
It’s something about seeing the people you love in the morning. Watching them wake up washed of yesterday’s sorrow and worries, full of optimism for the new day. The sun hitting their skin emphasizing the gold undertones; their swollen face and eyes full of last nights sleep. Everything is just so pure, the birds chirping as the sun hits the blinds. It’s like for that moment, nothing in the world matters and everyone and everything is brought back to its purest state.
That’s what I miss the most, seeing your glow in the morning— but I see it in her. Everyday I am reminded of how your skinned glistened in the sun. Those are moments that I used to live for, I hope they cherish them as much as I once did.
